Holiday Special debuts first extended Squadron 42 'vertical slice' gameplay

CIG's annual Holiday Special, hosted by Chris Roberts, gave the public its first extended look at Squadron 42 with pre-alpha work-in-progress gameplay from the game's "vertical slice." A standalone demo published the same day showcased Navy life aboard an Idris frigate and a rescue mission at an abandoned moon outpost. This was the long-promised gameplay showing that had been pulled from CitizenCon the year before.
