iheldtheline.com is an unofficial fan site dedicated to tracking Squadron 42 — the single-player campaign from Cloud Imperium Games.
This site is run by Doc_Flanigan, a long-time Star Citizen backer. The goal is to give Squadron 42 followers — veterans and newcomers alike — a single honest place to track development without hype, speculation, or gatekeeping.

Why “I Held the Line”?
The name comes from Admiral Ernst Bishop — the Gary Oldman character whose two speeches frame Squadron 42. His address to the UEE Senate declares the war the campaign is set in, and in the game's prologue he says the words themselves to the 2nd Fleet: “I held the line.” It's also what long-time backers have said to each other through every year of the wait.
